It works fine on my P&S. Its screw is in a slot so it adjusts if the tripod attachment point is off-center on the camera. Overall, outstanding design IMHO.

Adorama has the Grey version for $9.95 plus shipping ($3.75) for a total of $13.70

Just got one of these as a christmas gift. Haven't used it yet. Amazed at how tiny it actually is.

I just got one for my Q-S1. A question to the owners: I couldn't find a way to get the tripod-screw to the center. Crossed out in the Instructions’ image #4. How did you do it? Brute force, dremel?

Edit: I was a coward. Needs more force than I expected. Works like a charm.

I don't remember it being a problem. I think you have to screw it in all the way on one of the spots with wider holes to the right or left, and then slide it to the center, and then attach it to the camera from there. Looking at it, but I don't have anything to unscrew it handy.

It's as if it were made for the Q and it really highlights the wisdom of putting the battery and memory card doors on the side of the camera, not bottom.

I bought one years ago and realised that it worked almost as good as putting the camera on a flat surface.
