Well you said they rejected your $650 offer so I thought what the heck lets try $655. I was surprised they would take such a low offer. Best of all I get a USA 1 year Pentax warranty. And so do you of course

I gotta wonder just how low retailers will go with this camera. $599 was the lowest I've ever seen, so paying $56 above that is just fine by me. And I don't want to wait another year just to save $100 if it ever does reach the K-5iis price of $496 now.

Mine arrived this morning with a shutter count of 1 and a date of 2014/12/10 all looks fine so far. Used my K-5 battery to fire it up. SD card slot 1 was a little stiff but works fine now. Having both cameras side by side, I don't notice size or weight change!
I have gone through the review section for recommended settings to start off. Can't wait to enjoy it more.

I bought mine January 6th. They re-listed again yesterday but sold out again. Looks like you missed it twice. So keep watching that item in your "watch" list and see if they re-list it again.

What most likely happened, was that payment was declined on one or two of the previous units, and they were just re-listed again.
You just happened to reap the rewards. Good for you.

Mine showed up a few days ago as brand new. The first shot I took was the first shutter actuation. The camera works perfectly. I am very happy with this copy purchased from quickndone. With the US to CDN dollar conversion plus tax I paid $707 CDN total for this K3 with free shipping. I cant see getting one for cheaper anytime soon. In hindsight I'm glad I jumped on this deal!
