True, but the seller has to abide by Amazon's return rules. The seller may "refuse" all they want but the buyer usually wins in this case.

Yep, that's true... buyer usually wins, and Amazon will not releaase the money to the seller, especially new seller, until buyer receies the item. ( i have sold stuff on Amazon and had to wait for the money...)

Amazon is aggressively pursuing ebay's "buy it now" vendors, so there are lots of new sellers on Amazon lately.

Even with a good deal and Amazon's generous returns policy, I still prefer not to buy from freshmen vendors.
