Man, I wish prices were even remotely near that here in AU. I'm planning to get a K3 in the next month or two, and even a raw body will be $1200. I want a grip and flucard, too.

I sent Helen at Adorama an email a little while back explaining my "plight". Tomorrow I think I'll try calling as you suggested. Hopefully everything will work out. These kinds of situations always make me feel a little anxious, as if I could have or should have known better. Oh well...

I have to tell you that the grip and flucard for my new K3 have been outstanding and I am finding new uses for the FluCard. I know the usual suspects complain that its not integrated WiFi - big deal. It works well for me and having an iPad Retina screen to use to focus for macro and astro photography has been a true joy!

Things change. Posts like this one and SlickDeals often result in a much higher spike in sales than anticipated and with algorithms running much of the big sites pricing the result is a jump upward in price.

That's not a current option. The Flash deal was done to clear out old models - now that those are all gone the new models aren't going to be significantly discounted any time soon.
