It looks like it, I don't think the website is very clear.. Here's a pdf of supported camera for version 8, the k-3 isn't on it http://www.dxo.com/sites/dump.dxo.com/files/dxoimages/photo/contest/2014-10-...tics-Pro-8.pdf

I think version 8 was from 2012, so it's not shocking that at some point they weren't too worried about adding new cameras to it. A shame it doesn't do what you need, but it's free and personally I think this is a nice thing to do with your older software.

It would be nice if they had implemented support for new cameras in the older versions with an update or something. This way, those of us with new cameras can try out the free version and then decide if we want to buy the new version of their software.

Anybody know how to get it to work with K3 files?
From reading the previous posts, and the PDF that BrianR linked to it, apparently doesn't work with K-3 files..

There's a 30 day trial of the latest: Trial Version | www.dxo.com

They do add cameras in updates, version 8 is up to 8.5, but the updates eventually stop coming. DxO 8 also accepts tiff or jpeg, so you can convert your k-3 files in another raw converter and go crazy with DxO. You don't get the full power of it's profiles of course, so if you're a k3 user I'm not sure 8 is worth it. But it's free, so maybe it still is.

If you can believe it, I'm not a DxO pusher. I just suffer from free software acquisition syndrome.

Honestly, me too. There, I've said it. I guess that's Step 1, only 11 more to go.

Although I mostly use purchased programs, I'm always curious if there's something better out there. I do know it's tough to find something for nothing, but I stand by my original statement. Allow me to do the basics with ALL my gear with your free offering and hold out the carrot for the more deeper features.

No the K-3 isn't on there but the GR is and so are all the variants of the K-5.

Not sure if I understand this right. Will this still be useful for K-3 users?

Well, not unless you want to shoot in JPG or convert everything to TIFF, neither of which interests me.

My XP-Pro is puking it up.
Our old Vista laptop is running fine with it, to my surprise.
Seems like a decent program, might consider purchasing it.
