I didn't believe it first when I saw it but I downloaded the software and got activation code too...
While I am at work and do not have USB drive with me I will install it tomorrow but none than less I decided to share with this great Pentax community.

I gave it a try and I liked it too. It's missing two features : mirroring an image and setting auto levels for individual R, G, and B channels.

I also noticed that it can't straighten images and there is no local dodging/burning.

Try the link posted in the thread started by jrobe121. It takes you to the DXO site directly where version 8 is available for free until the end of February.

If I install this thing, I suspect that I will be bombarded with pop-ups telling me to upgrade to a newer version.

Color me blind: I cannot find anything that points to v8 on the dxo site, neither on my android tablet nor with Chrome/IE on my desktop.

EDIT - works now, clearly more EEEEs are better (the other posting) just like more oooo in Dooooomed!
