You've got to be kidding me. That's like 1/4th of the price for a new one.

So far it's a great deal. Pity it's not for K-mount though.
BTW this seller is basically the Australian Sigma distributor (ie CRK) wearing a different hat for eBay.

My flatbed pickup is ready. The back turret will readily accept it with swing around room to spare. Big Game Hunting - here we go!!!

Items on ebay auctions are always cheap when there is still so much time to go. There's already 25 bids with 3 and a half days to go! I'd love to watch the flurry at the end of this one.

Just curious. Are there any real reviews of this lens somewhere?

Someone was just commenting on PF that they were thinking of leaving Pentax because they needed "longer and faster lenses" for birding.

Well, there you go! You won't find "longer and faster" in any line.... The issue then becomes buying a truck to haul it around and getting it slung over your shoulder for a hike into the woods.

Dimensions (Diameter x Length) 236.5 x 726 mm So, nearly 10" diameter by 29" in length.
Weight 15700g So, nearly 35 pounds.

And, on top of it all, it comes with a 2X autofocus teleconverter!
I don't know why we don't all have one. We could do portrait shots from the next county over.

DP write-up

Juza write-up - some test shots, links to other sources

Amazon Reviews lots of laughs

For that you would buy a body to fit it :-)
