On clearance -
Pentax FA-J 18-35mm f4-5.6 smc AL (a very cheap FF wide angle lens ) AUD $99
Pentax FA-J 18-35mm f4-5.6 smc AL > Pentax Lenses | Ted's Camera Stores - Ted's Cameras

Pentax Q10 + 5-15mm AUD $269.95
Pentax Q10 + 5-15mm Zoom BLACK | Pentax CSC Cameras | Ted's Cameras - Ted's Cameras

Not on clearance but still a good deal:
Sigma EF-610 DG Super Flash (Pentax) $249 + $9.95 postage [available on back order]

How long do you reckon that stock was lost on a shelf somewhere at a store or warehouse? Would have to be a decade or more since that was a current Pentax item.

Edit: Curious, I went looking on the Wayback Machine and found a July 2014 page from Ted's advertising the 18-35 for $99.95.

Dimitrov has the lens in production from 2003 (and claims it is still in production, which is wrong). The 'Operating Manual' I got with the lens was printed in 2003 too. So it's very possible it was sitting somewhere in a Teds display window or warehouse for over 10 years.

I wonder if it was ever offered as a kit lens on a k100 or similar? Either way, Teds have had these for quite some time.

The sales guy didn't know where they were from ... said CRK are the distributors.

But no other retailer was selling them ...

I've got a (totally unfounded) feeling they might have been the kit lens for *istD.

CRK have a habit of bundling Sigma lens with Pentax cams so maybe these were leftovers from when they split up the Pentax kit and replaced them with Sigma lenses.
