Agreed. Excellent price on a very good camera. The flash however is about as useless or useful as the popup flash - no bounce nor swivel nor wireless.

Though can be adapted for use as an off camera flash. I use mine off camera for macro.

It's higher than the popup so you can get over a lens!

Good thing neither of my daughters have a birth-day coming up or I would have to buy one.
That blk. with kit lens and a memory card is a pretty good deal.

I was in my local Target today and noticed they had the white K50 with DA L 18/55 WR lens on clearance for $309.95. It was next to a Sony A-3000 (also on clearance) and just around the corner from a big Canikon end isle display. Hopefully it's to make way for the K-S2 but I'm suspicious there just going to be carrying the big two names.
