Shame it doesn't work on Sigma lenses, I really wanted an EX 20mm 1.8. The BGN Pentax-F 135mm f2.8 can be had for $299, somebody pick this up before I'm stuck with two of these babies...\

Their A* 400mm f2.8 drops by $450 to $2,464.15...smth to consider

Well good. I did too. I had been on the fence and you probably pulled the trigger right before I did. You got an amazing deal!

I the only WR lens I have is a 18-55mm, and I wanted a full AW lens for hiking, i find my best landscape pictures come in the worst weather. I'm hoping the BGN is only cosmetic scratching.

They are pretty conservative. I have bought BGN stuff and it has been a lot better than most would consider as good.

I looked hard at that sale, since i'm stocking up on FF lenses. I like KEH, have bought from them in the past, but I thought their prices were very ambitious. So I checked Adorama instead and ordered a used 8/10 Tamron 90 Macro instead, for $150. How's that for a deal?

unfortunately zbrueningsen the bgn 16-50mm was worse than bgn. It has fungus, a large spot inside, and the front plate is damaged. Im not going to keep it. I've had really good experiences with KEH before but there was a reason why this one was ridiculously priced.

That really surprises me. The FA31 I got from them was BGN condition. The glass is perfect. It did have a slight dent on the hood, but I couldn't care less about that. The lens functions perfectly. Sorry your experience wasn't so good, y0chang.

This was a lens I went back to buy also. Looks like I did well not to get one, and I am sure you got an amazing deal with that. It is an excellent lens.

KEH is refunding me the full amount and paying for return shipping, so they are doing me right, but I'm just disappointed I wont be able to use the 16-50 in the big snowfall we just gotten.

From my experience with KEH, their BGN grade is a much wider range. Therefore, when you see an item in BGN, you'd better consider the price as well. If price is super attractive, it is very likely you will end up not happy with. I have bought several BGN items there and I was not happy with them. To be fair, This is partly due to attractive prices on these items. Realizing this, now I stop buying BGN item, especially lenses.
