I've been looking for an FA 20-35 and after a couple weeks, finally happened upon this one on e-Bay.

It's a beautiful looking copy, but I was stunned by the price....

I was expecting 1/2 that, maybe even less based upon the rough average in the lens review.

Will this be the new normal for film-era lenses now that people are anticipating the Pentax full frame?

I'd be curious is this is what other folks are seeing or if this is just an unusually expensive example.

Even if he could know that's the absolutely last copy of the FA 20-35 for sale in existence It's not worth the price. I call ignorance on his part.

Well, it appears that the prospective seller of the FA 20-35 must have made an error on their original posting....or maybe they were reading this thread

Today the aforementioned FA20-35 is listing is for a pretty reasonable $460 rather than the $900+ price that appeared the other day.

Wish I had something left in the piggy bank because this seems like one of Pentax's better legacy AF zooms.

I recently acquired mine at a comparable price and I'm really impressed. It's become a favorite "take-along".
