It looks like they changed that since last night. When I posted it still showed the flash but I now see it is no longer listed on any of their deals.

Wow, I guess I wish I had held out a little longer. I didn't really want the flash, so the Body+35mm+50mm plus another 10-15 bucks for an SD card would have gotten me the same equipment from Adorama for about $50 less. Oh well.

BTW - the eyefi mobi is coming in the box with some of the K-50 bodies. Because it doesn't say it on the deal doesn't mean you won't be getting it; I don't recall my purchase saying anything about the mobi, but it was in there (4gb).

Ordered the previous deal with 2 lenses. I went with a white body for $20 more so it ended up being back-ordered. It shipped the day this new deal went live. Got ahold of customer service hoping there was something that could be done because really I have memory cards and I didnt really want that flash. After some minor confusion about it and a very painless conversation through email its allset. They agreed to allow me to just ship back the flash and card and would refund the difference of the 2 deals once they received the items.
That's pretty impressive customer service.

It looks like the end may be near. The listing for the black body at B&H shows "Back-Ordered" & "Ship Time: Not Available", the red body shows "In Stock: Shipping Only", while the white body is the only one shows the normal "In Stock".

Are there plans to discontinue the K-50? K-3 and K-5 sit toward the top of the lineup, and it could be argued that with the K-S2/K-S1/K-500 covering the bottom of the range, there might not be much room for the K-50.

Well, it looks like Adorama finally got rid of the free Flash & 32 GB memory card offer, but now you can get the K-50 body with a free 50mm f1.8 lens when you bundle it. Far better than the free flash.

There are a lot of K-30 and K-50 (to my mind, not much difference there) cameras on the market at "reasonable" prices, so I'm guessing that they are trimming the line to just the K-S1 and K-S2 at the lower end of the range.

Yeah, whilst all the talk has been about the S line being something different, I still believe the K-S2 was supposed to be the K-70 (K-30/50 replacement).
There has been no talk of any formal replacement to the K-50, and the K-S line got a new member incredibly quickly!
In fact we should be up for the K-S3 fairly soon given that rate of development...

A line up of K-S1 / K-S2 / K-3 and K-3ii and then FF sounds about right I'd say.
I can't see the K-S1 and or K-500 lasting too long though at the bottom end.

Well, that was a mistake.
I was looking at the K-50 with the 18-135 at Adorama since I could get the 50mm f1.8 for free with the purchase. Decided to think about it overnight. Oops. Just went to buy it and they no longer are offering the bundle prices on the additional lenses.

Ugh. Back to the drawing board.

No such luck. Rep said the discounts were from a Pentax rebate that expired. Although I find it odd that Adorama had a manufacturer rebate that wasn't available to anyone else.
