That would bother me. He had time to list it, but won't take a few minutes to check the shutter count; and of course no returns. It could come in with a high number of clicks.

That is very shady. I would not buy from such a seller.

He said he only used it a total of three times, unless he's into wildlife I wouldn't expect a high shutter count (but that's what the message feature is for)

It was also bought used from B&H, he is not original owner so there is unknown history.

We're acting like a bunch of schoolgirls huddled in a circle contemplating on our strategic approach to the new cute boy. Someone who has a genuine interest should ask the seller on the counter... (I own to many bodies as it is)

Request a jpeg from him/her and find the clicks - it really is easy for a PKForum user!

Haha it's for this reason that I probably won't bother selling my k5 when I replace it. Im a wildlife shooter and I'm sure it will be high mileage that nobody will pay for.

If I had a working K-5 and bought, for example, a K-3ii, I would keep the K-5 as a backup. You never know when you'll have an immediate need for another body. As I have already commented here several times, I have been using a Canon Rebel which I had planned to stretch out to Black Friday 2016 (yes, I run on a very tight budget!). Last week it died, so my best "backup" is my Q-7. When I retired my Super Program and moved over to Canon, I kept it as my backup, and just never got around to getting rid of it, which is why it is still around to be a part of my signature here.

You could buy a brand new one from Best Buy for $546. Why take a chance on a used one from a questionable seller?
