Outdoor Photo Gear: Any Experiences?
Posted By: UserAccessDenied, 05-12-2015, 08:58 AM

I've come across this website that's selling off DEMO gear at ridiculously low prices...

Has anyone had experience buying from here before?
I'm looking for a ball head and monopod. They seem to have the lowest prices for quality gear.

That is a suspiciously low price but I can't find any dirt on them. No BBB reviews either.
If you use a credit card that has some kind of buyer protection/refund policy it seems like you could minimize the risk and give them a try.

They have a physical location along with phone number. Also pics and bios of staff members on their web site. Appears to be ligit but I have had no dealings with them.

Yeah, but if it's in the shape they say it would be totally worth it! I try and buy demo stuff pretty often (skis, bikes, and of course camera gear).

Based on their web site (phone number, address, bios of staff members) they seem pretty legit.

They certainly do...
I was able to pay with PayPal as well so there is a sense of protection there as well.

I was emailed a receipt and the item is no longer available on the site, as if there was really only one DEMO model.

I'm very curious to report back with the condition and overall satisfaction. They have more DEMO gear in case this works out for me! lol

They're the US distributor for 3 Legged Thing, so you're probably safe.

So ball head just arrived... You'd be amazed at the condition this thing is in!

2 day shipping and they included a lollipop in the box (random, but I guess appreciated?)

This thing is practically brand new. Came with box and papers.

I will definitely be shopping here again!
