CR Kennedy is listing this lens new for $249 (Australian dollars) in Pentax mount.

At current exchange rates that is less than $200 US. The lens has good reviews on this site. The DG indicates it has Full Frame coverage. It may be of interest to someone gearing up for FF. I know this lens has been discontinued for some time, so maybe they are cleaning out the store room.

I bought this lens and luv it so much it has become my walk around lens not sure what they are up to but so glad it is in my collection. Gave it a good try in all situations very happy across the range will post some images up.

Heck of a price. Looks like it's only available in Australia, though.

Thanks. Just received mine today. Luckily it's a good copy. Spent lunchtime taking photos around a fruit and veg market to test for sharpness. Rubber zoom ring is slightly discoloured but it's probably because it must be at least 8 years old by now. Can't imagine you can get a better lens for $A250--new or second hand. I have some legacy primes ready for the FF but it's also nice to have a good autofocus fast zoom with modern lens coatings.
