Nice price! Adorama must be wanting to clear out inventory to make space for the K-3 II. Will someone here help them with their shelf space dilemma?

Interesting to think that the margins are thinner now but nobody is losing money on this along the way.

So right now, the K-3 is just barely more than the K-S2.

I wonder if this is prelude to having just K-3ii, K-S2, and K-S1 on the shelf.

The K-S2 is on sale too! I'm having a hard time deciding between them...I think the wifi and tilty screen are weighing heavily in the S2's favor...

The AF is 27 points for k3 and 11 points for the ks2(which inherited the k5ii AF). Ive read the high ISO is better with kS2. I think video specs are better on k3. So it really depends on what you want.

Or the full-frame.

The K-3 and K-S2 have the same video mode, except that the K-3 also has a headphone jack.

The K-3 does deliver better image quality overall (see our K-S1 review for some comparisons) thanks to the higher resolution and more advanced white balance system.

Overall, the K-3 is in a higher class and will generally be the go-to choice for enthusiast users. Its grip/handling are way ahead of the K-S2's grip, which has actually been reduced in size compared to the K-50.

Where the K-S2 shines is its articulating screen, which is great for family photos and shooting macros, etc. It's new PRIME M II processor actually makes for a more consistent live view framerate and faster buffer clears (though the buffer is smaller), so that's going to be a nice improvement in future flagships.

I did it. I love my K50 which got me back I to photography. I have taken some great images with it. But the K3's ability to add Continuos focusing to the user mode is big for me when switching for birds in flight. The 3rd user mode is helpful to. Hopefully the addition focusing points will help with the birds as well. The k50 becomes my capable backup now.
