I like to buy camera gear thru Amazon because if there is ever a problem, they tend to replace it overnight instead of waiting for the defective gear to be returned first.

The K-3 ii is also available from PopFlash Photo (a Ricoh authorized online reseller) for $996. May work better for NY state residents (B&H and Adorama must charge sales tax).

Please remember just because you're buying on the Amazon website doesn't mean you'll get the same shipping service from 3rd party vendors on there... I suspect they have to be fulfilled by Amazon to qualify.

Gadgetcircuit.com does not have any ratings on resellerratings.com; so I'm extremely hesitant to buy. The layout of their website hints at being one of the stereotypical "Brooklyn scam group" sites, unfortunately. But the review site that did have 250+ ratings for them, did have positive things to say. Anybody here bought Pentax gear from them in the past?

Either way, I'm gonna click buy on one of these sites!

we aren't talking about unauthorized (ie black or grey market) dealers here. I think consumers are smart enough to know what they are buying and you may rest assured that a purchase via Amazon of the camera for $979 or $969 via an authorized dealer is quite possible. BTW, even Bolton's and Focus Camera(listed on amazon) are on the Pentax authorized retailers list, as is amazon.
