Given the number of users who have complained about the GPS/on-off bug, I'd say $80 extra for the warranty is worth it.

The camera was never $1299 as it says in that post, US MSRP is $1099 and the camera is currently selling for $979 at B&H.

Even without the bug, the B&H price is such a small difference percentage wise that buying the gray market makes no sense.

Yep, $80 is a small price to pay for the US warranty.

The gps bug will be fixed by a firmware update. It does not check for your seller's color (white, black or grey)

I bought one from here for $892.98 shipped and got it delivered yesterday. I'll update the status when I open the box after work today.
