An Amazon third party seller has the Pentax K-3 body (new) on sale for $534.80 plus $5.99 shipping. The only way I can see to access it is to use this link, and it is the first listing which has the lowest price shown of $534.80 plus $5.99 shipping. I have verified directly with the seller via Amazon's email that these are NEW, but I have no personal experience with this seller. Just trying to share what appears to be a great deal, and Amazon has buyer purchase protection if any issues arise. There are currently five available in stock from this seller.

I put in an order at 6:48
got cold feet and cancelled order at 7:44
Shipping confirmation came through at 9:08
at 10:12 I got an email from the seller saying that the transaction would be cancelled.
At 1:22 I got the confirmation through Amazon that the transaction was cancelled.

As shady as this dude looks, he SEEMS like he will deliver (or he was going to ship me 2 lbs. of bricks in a box). I can't imagine what kind of legit business stocks 2 DSLRs, a Fuji instamatic and a 73" TV. For those that want warranties and want to support a camera store that will still be around in a couple years, I suggest using someone else. For someone who absolutely has to have the cheapest K-3 out there (and hopefully there's no issues with it), there's this dubious character.

I really wanted a dirt cheap K-3, but with the new K-3II and the soon to come FF, K-3s will be selling for close to this price for awhile. I'd rather pay a touch more and have something (a bit more) legit.

No, because I already have a K-3. However, I've pulled the trigger on all sorts of Amazon-mediated deals that were seen as 'sketchy' by others and they've all gone through. As long as it's through Amazon.com, you've got nothing to lose.
