That doesn't seem like a good deal to me. The original buy it new price was $522. That price there is a tad over that, and you can buy a K-50 for a lot less and get more MPs too boot. So, imo, unless you collect these cameras, I'd bypass that deal

That was my first Pentax DSLR in fact first DSLR - and it was very good for its time and price - my son received mine when I got the K20 - now he is using a stormtrooper K30 - not sure what he did with it - maybe a back up body...

This must be a joke. It's 9 years old with a 6 megapixel sensor and maximum ISO of 3200. I sold my K-5 IIs for less than this.

On German eBay auctions, the *istDL2 is the second cheapest Pentax DSLR body, just marginally more expensive than the *istDL, and during the last 12 months the price has dropped again.
It's now about €50-€60.

The *istDS/DS2 and K100D are slightly higher, and only the *istD (and sometimes the K100D Super) are near or about the €100 margin.
Even the K-x now sells often for less than €150, roughly the same as the K200D. And the K-7 now gets nearer to €200-220.

However, the seller claims the body is "new", which should mean "new old stock" and never used.
In this case - if true - there may still be buyers even for that price. There are people who collect only new and unused equipment.
But, the *istDL2 ?
Of the 6MP series, I would think only the *istD (and, maybe, the *istDS / *istDS2) would be collector items.

Keep your eyes open - they pop up here in the marketplace now & then. I found one for $50 shipped last year, looks like new, original v. 1.00 firmware (no green button metering), and less than 200 clicks. It does have quite a few dead/stuck pixels. It's a fun little camera & has a huge (for aps-c) viewfinder! (talking about the original D)
