See the review on there? If that's what consumers see it's not going to help sales.

complaining the building quality and button layout? This guy really has no idea what $600 camera kits from canikon are.
Someone with Costco membership should comment on this review.

I seriously doubt the person has ever held a K-S2, just an anti Pentax troll.
maybe it's pentaxdude

Seems like a Canikon troll on the review.

The description now shows 18-50mm lens.
Another review posted. Takes up to 48 hours to appear.
The guy who wrote that one review "NoFat" appears to be a complete troll. Doubt if he ever even touched one. "mounting issues" on the lens? The K-mount has been around for years and never been said to be difficult to mount. What garbage. Cheap materials? Pick up a low end Canon.

Maybe he's a Nikon user and keeps trying to turn the lens counterclockwise when mounting it.

Mounting issues? Button Layout?, Build Quality? on Pentax bodies...?
S..E..R..I..O..U..S..L..Y...?

Or is it an attempt to make Costco lower the price of K-S2 to make it more pocket-able? And then he is going with the trusted brands.... I am ROFL. I am still OK with troll motors but this guy is a total dud.

Perhaps it is 18-50mm since it retracts and will have resistance when that happens "...lens is not smooth" thing.

Very tempted to pull the trigger and add the 35mm lens. A lot of bang for the buck!

You can't reply to a review and if you make your review a direct comment on his review, Costco won't approve it. The best you could do is to post a proper review of the camera .

It appears that you don't need to buy to post a review, but maybe the reviews are checked against purchases after posting. If someone has a costco.com account and a legit review to post, do it. You might even be able to get someone with an account to post it for you...ahem.

Pretty sweet deal. I wonder if they are having a hard time selling these. I just got in on a $400 body only deal this week. It's going to be my pocketable P&S .
