APS-C cameras are getting soooooo cheap while the image quality has never been better.

I remember paying 500 for a K-x with the DAL kit lens and thinking that was a solid deal... to think that was only 5 years ago. Wow.

The picture shows the DA 50-200mm WR lens. I hope that's what comes in the bundle, instead of the cheaper DA-L 50-200 WR version.

In any case, excellent deal!!

It is a quirk of the Costco listing (content provided by Pentax) that they show the DA version in some of the photos while it is the DA-L that is actually part of the kit. It is the same with the K-50 kit they sell.

Some buyers got the DA-L, but I got the DA version when I bought my K-50 from them a couple of years ago.

I will most likely sell the 50-200 as I have a very nice F 70-210... i am sure it stomps the newer one in IQ, will see...

Cool...my K-50 purchase experience was January 2014 apparently after Pentax changed the composition of the standard bundle. I believe the DA-L WR debuted about that time.

Yep, online only. The retail store will provide customer service should you have a problem.
