Should be fun to watch the closing price for this one.

No box?
Missing the cover for the flash connection?
No pic of the bottom?

Three hundred dollars tops.

that is a call and a half. 50/1.2 lenses go for more than that. I'm detecting sarcasm

I can't imagine it happens often, but when these sell, what's the usual price out of curiousity?

Well there is a forum thread for a listing back in 2012:
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/94-pentax-price-watch/197761-pentax-lx-gold.html
Price was US $7,411 then, which is more than the current Buy-It-Now listings.

It's not a Gold LX "kit" -- it's a Gold LX ~portfolio~...

Hard to tell. I've had watches that look "mint" to the naked eye, but show fine scratches in a photo taken with a reasonably a sharp lens under good light.

I know a guy who bought an LX 2000 (sometimes seen on auction sites) complete in box kit, Mint - as issued - about 10 years ago. I have seen but haven't touched the item. He admitted he paid more than $5,000, but not how much more.

See this link, and the realted items below it for an LX Titanium Black kit and an LX Gold kit.

apart from the scratches it looks like there is a dent or something in one of the dials.

I've seen the lens for sale before for some stupidly high price, but never the matching camera yet. That's impressive, and buying it probably breaks any number of endangered-wildlife import regulations in half a dozen countries.
