Just saw the Pentax DA* 300 f/4 is down to $862.73 at B&H. Crazy low! How much lower can it go?

This price is shocking. $814.99 shipped! I don't know anything about the reseller though.

I've never heard of them and they only have 1 copy. They seem to buy closeout items (and I'm guessing used/return products).

Just make sure you really want the lens if buying from them:

A: No, not for defective returns. For non-defective returns, we charge a 20% restocking fee (min $10) and shipping will not be refunded.

~160 dollar restocking fee will bite you!

I would rather pay the extra 50 bcuks and get it from a well known and trusted entity like B&H.

I could not dance around

any longer, and pulled the trigger with Adorama tonight. Got DA* 300mm for $854.34 plus free Leaf Plus 3 year warranty, plus 4% reward (about $34).
Can't wait to test it!

Me too, but I think that around $770 (4% reward plus free warranty) is already pretty good price, so I could not wait longer
So, pretty soon I come back to the 300mm lens plus club which I blame for this purchase! And most likely converter later will be their fault as well.
