Samy's Ricoh $100 rebate on S1, K-50 & S2

The $200 rebate on the K-3II has already been mentioned here, but I note that my rebate form shows $100 rebates on the cameras listed in the subject line. Sheesh, the K-50 with kit zoom is $249 after the rebate...I'm never gonna be able to sell my used one. The rebate is supposed available at other retailers via Promaster, but I never did find another one that honored the rebate besides Samy's. The offer ends 12/31.

Can you post a link to the Samy's page for the K-50, etc.?

Here's the link to the K-50:
Pentax | K-50 Digital Camera with 18-55mm Zoom Lens (Black) | 10894
The K-S1 is back down to $199 with the rebate:
Pentax K-S1 DSLR Camera with 18-55mm Lens (Black) | 06424
When the K-3II offer first came out the base price on the K-50 was higher. The rebate only made it comparable to the other retailers at that point. Samy's web site does not show the K-S2.

That K-50 is a steal.
It says it is the DA lens in the included items with pictures of the DAL, I wouldn't be surprised if it was with the DAL lens they were selling.

Those are incredible prices. Is Samy's a reliable retailer? Is there a link to the rebate form? Are people getting their rebates on time?

I don't know anything about Samy's, but I'm definitely keeping an eye on this thread. Here's the link to the rebate form:

Samy's Camera is in LA - one of the largest camera B&M store and a Pentax authorized retailer. I purchased my K5 on sale from them 5 years ago.

K4?
Do you mean K-5 or K-3?

Samy's is very reputable. I dunno about their online service, but their store in SF is great. They get complaints on Yelp, which are about on a par with most camera stores. They do a big biz here in rental stuff especially gaffer supplies for events and so on. I bought my K-3II from them and it was a total pleasure doing biz with them, especially compared to B&H (who weren't that bad, but their pricing policies were annoying to the point it cost them a sale, but in the end saved me huge $$ when I decided not to buy from them) and compared to Ricoh and some other vendors. And the complaints on Yelp, eg, run more to issues with service, etc. They are an authorized dealer, were decent on returns I've made, and gave me straight price quotes on the camera.

Another poster in the thread re the rebate and the K-3II noted that interactions he had with Promaster were good, and I was happy to see that the rebate gets sent direct to Promaster, not some rebate mill.

The rebate form says it is valid at any ProMaster authorized retailer. Are any of the major online stores like B&H and Adorama authorized ProMaster retailers? The ProMaster site makes me search by city so I can't tell if any online stores are included.

The K-50 is also available on ebay from Samys. They confirmed that ebay sales would also qualify for the rebate. Putting this out there in case you have an ebay bucks offer. Pentax K 50 Digital Camera with 18 55mm Zoom Lens Black | eBay

I had noticed this same rebate for the K-50. That really does put a hurt on the used market. I bought a used K-20D a little while back, if I had known this was on the horizon I could have thrown in another $75 and had a new K-50. Oh well. But Christmas is coming! It never hurts to have another camera, right??
