Samy's Ricoh $100 rebate on S1, K-50 & S2 · **1 Like**

The $200 rebate on the K-3II has already been mentioned here, but I note that my rebate form shows $100 rebates on the cameras listed in the subject line. Sheesh, the K-50 with kit zoom is $249 after the rebate...I'm never gonna be able to sell my used one. The rebate is supposed available at other retailers via Promaster, but I never did find another one that honored the rebate besides Samy's. The offer ends 12/31.

Congratulation; you must have gotten the last one. Now, at that link, it says "no longer available". I'm really happy with my K-50... lots of features, and it works really well with legacy lenses. I already sold off the 18-55 lens, so after I sell off the flash and the rebate comes, I'll have my K-50 body for a song.

Hate to necro this thread but I have to ask. Does anyone remember getting any email confirmations from this rebate? Any tracking information to find where int he process it is? Anyone to contact for information about it? Haven't seen mine yet but I sent it bit later then everyone else.

I contacted Promaster and got a prompt reply; I think I mentioned it in a post earlier.

Mine took about 2 weeks to get the rebate check. In the meantime no contact by Promaster about it. As long as your receipt is dated before 12-31-15 you should be okay.

I sent my rebate info by certified mail and according to USPS it just sat in Promaster's PO box for more than two weeks from December 16th. I wrote to Promaster twice (at their "talk to a human" email address) and received no reply. When I received my rebate check (it took about a month in all), it was dated on 16 December. So, no acknowledgement from them at all, even in response to email, but the check finally did arrive. I got my new Pentax K-50 for $129! (after selling off the lens and the flash that it came with).

I haven't gotten my check for the rebate that I mailed out in November. I sent them an email this week and they couldn't find my rebate. They're investigating. A little disappointed though. I've never had a rebate not approved before.

got mine about a week ago so all worked out well. Guess they just got a little slow toward the end due to the amount of people sending in. I love happy endings (wipes a tear away)

Thanks all. I was a little bummed that the rebate could have been lost but now, this is just a fantastic deal. I just need to sell the kit lens. I think i'll keep the flash. The only thing I hate on the k-50 is that the shutter is too loud. I can't shoot in a recital or play. I think I need to get something else with a silent shutter. Bummer.
