Wow, what is the stock quantity of these lenses that they just keep being sold for so low? Are people not buying them fast enough?

I wonder if Ricoh actually heard us? There was quite a bit of talk here and in some 50mm lens reviews of the excessive price of this lens in comparison to other brand's comparable model. Now, roughly a year later, the price has halved. That is fantastic I think and extra fantastic if it is because Ricoh heard us, considered it, and actioned a lower price as a result.

This pricing makes me think that Ricoh will be releasing a new nifty-fifty and don't one of their own models competing against this new lens. The nifty-fifty market is too saturated.

Yes! Pentax offers some very nice lenses in this rangе - SMC Pentax-DA * 55mm F1.4 SDM, SMC Pentax-FA 43mm F1.9 Limited, SMC Pentax-FA 50mm F1.7 ... This lens is just a cheap

I know this lens that was in the K3 special package with a flash for $649, has been on backorder for about a month. Mine finally shipped yesterday.
