They seem to have other Pentax related stuff as well link

A rep from Ricoh/Pentax gave me the "straight dope" and told me that as long as you buy Pentax from a seller in the US and it's shipped to an address in the US, then Ricoh/Pentax will honor warranty service and won't really care about authorized dealer or not. He said it excluded eBay sales unless the seller is a store and provides their own invoice, not the eBay invoice.

Did you buy it? I agree the price is so good, but Jet doesn't get high customer rating as far as I know

No I didn't buy it because I already have one. I just read through the ratings at RR and it seems most of the negative reviews are about cancelled orders.

I'd like to keep an eye on this thread and see what happens with those that did order one. Worst case scenario your order might get cancelled, which I guess isn't too big of a deal. I'll apologize in advance in case this does happen

I found an open box copy on Amazon for $62 a few days ago. Would be great if they price match for a BNIB though. I didn't know they did that.

Got the refund/credit for a past order. Did the online chat. Showed them the link to Jet for the $90 plus the 15% of credit. Easily priced matched the $90... but the other took a bit more work. She gave me a credit instead for being a loyal amazon shopper. so... does not hurt to try.
