If you contact them via chat or phone they should price match it for you. B&H are good with these kind of things.

UPS delivered it this morning. Sweet! Took one picture to check the shutter count and it was 1, then went through and set it up. Looking forward to our drive tomorrow to Port Aransas...have chores to do before we can leave in the morning or would go for a walk with it now.

I bought one too. Received mine a few days ago.

Shutter count was one when I received it.

No GPS lock up problems, good serial number.

All good. Hard to beleive that such an outstanding camera as the Pentax K3II is going for only $729 (with free shipping to boot)!

You could get it for $649 after rebate last month. I'm still holding out for this deal to happen again hopefully.

Pentax honors the warranty as long the camera is purchased from a US seller who provides a store invoice and ships to a US address. Adam has also confirmed this previously in a different thread here.

Interesting. Why isn't this a sticky somewhere or easily found? If it is true, shouldn't it be documented somewhere? It still seems to be commonly believed on the forums that grey market purchases aren't covered under the manufacturer warranties. I cannot argue either way but it has come up in many threads and there doesn't seem to be a clear, "official" answer.

I agree with what you are saying completely, but I think Pentax is at fault because they are not clear about the warranty information. You can't even find the Authorized Dealers list on their website. This may be the reason why it hasn't been made "official" here on the forum.

Here is the link to the post by Adam. This is exactly what the rep told me when I inquired about this a few weeks back. I guess you just have to do your due diligence when buying.
