I used to use Pelicans when I was working and traveled a lot. They are as close to indestructible as you can get. I still have a couple left that I use occasionally. You won't be disappointed. I bought some 3" stencils at the local hardware and painted my name in white on the travel ones. I could spot them a mile away at any airport luggage claim.

Later on, when I retired and sold one, a little thinner took the paint right off.

I'm looking at getting one of these before heading to USVI in June.
I don't have nearly enough camera gear to fill it, but if it meets carry-on regulations this might be all I need for clothes, camera gear, might even fit a tripod inside!

I'm back from Honduras and the case worked out great for me, FYI. I brought a couple of bags (one bag, one backpack) in my checked bag and just used one of those with whatever I was shooting that day. I left the Pelican case in the house we were in under my bed with a few less valuable photo items in plain sight in the room just in case someone did come looking for stuff to steal. Thankfully I never had to test that bluff.
