Not sure if anyone has seen this..
Pentax K 1 Full Frame DSLR Camera Body Only | eBay

How come someone gets to sell this when most auth retailers are showing April 22nd ??????

I doubt they can fulfill it - they're probably banking on getting the order in then saying april 22 for delivery. Naughty.

I got an email from from Ricoh offering April delivery for what its worth.

Listing says 5 available. Wondering if these copies were meant for some US reviewers (I could be one of them) but not delivered to them and being sold on EBay instead and of course at a higher price since they are available prior to Ricoh's flood gate dates. I also checked the seller and it looks like he/she is an experienced seller with good ratings. Also claims ETA to be Mar7th latest. I am sure they are real saleable copies with a less than up to date firmware version (may be).

If I had copies that aren't in the market out yet I would have that kind of mark up. But One would rather save up for more D-FA lenses than buy these especially knowing that is around the corner. I did find it suspicious too but then I did not see K-1 being sold anywhere and surprisingly found them on eBay. Gray market for sure.. but does that mean Ricoh made it available to the gray market first.. I don't understand it...
It better be suspicious or else there is something goofy about Ricoh's product release plan seeing this copies on ebay earlier than expected.

If you check the negative reviews, they've shipped different items or no item at all in some cases. The firmware probably isn't even 1.0 yet. I doubt anyone has a final copy right now. Don't let your hunger lead you to regret.

The really interesting part are the physical specs:

100 whats? ounce? lbs? cartloads?

1 width, 1 length, and 1 depth.

hmmm.. interesting, yes, interesting... I don't think you're getting a K-1, or even a ceiling fan... no, maybe a BB pellet of Osmium this time

Someone should report the listing. Promising 6 days delivery on an item that has not yet been released is fraud.
