Just rec'd my copy. Wow, a massive difference in handling and weight from the Kiron 105 I've been using. Anxious now to spend a couple hours with it in the morning barring heavy rains. Not going to let a little drizzle get in the way.

I'm looking to pick this lenses up to use on the K1in the future. I am wondering-as it has no aperture ring- if it would work on my old Super A and P30n in p mode?

I was lucky to get it for $442 awhile back. Even at $500 it is still an excellent value. I couldn't believe how small this lens is. It like having a limited lens. It is half the size of my Tamron 90mm macro. The only advantage the Tamron has is the apeture ring. The 49mm filter thread makes filters very affordable.

Tell me about it. I have the Kiron and it is so difficult to handle it outdoors. Specially when there is wind and flowers are moving. It is super difficult to nail the focus and depth of field is too narrow. It does render beautiful bokeh though.
