$200 US. The seller says it is in good condition. Seems cheap

Now $259 as of this posting. Looks good at the price, but someone else can have this. I have a Ricoh 55mm that behaves exactly the same way on Pentax bodies.

Great deal indeed. I would have bought this if I did not have one already. The condition looks much better for this price for a lens averaging $300 on ebay.

Sorry, I meant to write $260US, but the phone wouldn't let me put "US" right next to the $260, so I spent some time fiddling with it, and I guess lost the 60 in the process... Regarding prices for these, I have a feeling that for older lenses prices are pretty much whatever the buyer is willing to pay - the other day I saw A 50 1.2 in "as is" condition for around $500US, I saw another one, I think M 50 1.2 for over 200US with a front element cracked, so when I saw this one I thought it was an amazing deal. Is there rhyme or reason to these prices?

There was no M 50/1.2, just K 50/1.2 and A 50/1.2

No problem. Phones are like that. Actually, I wasn't trying to correct or contradict you - an offer had been made, and as I don't know how the offer system works, I thought that was what had pushed the price up.

Some people don't know what they've got till it's gone. You can get lucky - I've read about some lucky guy who picked up a mint A 50/1.2 for under $100 in an ebay auction, but that's a once in a lifetime lucky stroke.

Correct. However, some sellers - either ignorant or unscrupulous - sometimes offer M 50/1:2.0 lenses (or K or A types) as 1.2's because they (either allegedly or deliberately) confuse the semicolon and the decimal point.

I have over 2000 transactions on ebay. With such a HUGE international audience, virtually everything sells on ebay for what it is worth. I have never seen a "super deal" on ebay (good prices yes, super deals no).

The 50mm f/1.2 lens that was linked to in the original posting has extremely rusted/dirty mount screws! This makes me suspect this lens was used extensively in a corrosive environment (like the beach). I wonder the extent of its' internal corrosion. No way I'm bidding on this lens.

Especially not now that someone's bought it. I guess they'll find out about the internal condition one way or another.

Going market seems to be $400 - $450 for the K in EX o/b. A, add $100. Good, subtract $100.

There are enough of both around that no one need over pay.

I don't see What you saw. The screws look like brass. Ooh well, someone got a bargain or they got taken.

That's what I saw as well. Perhaps a little bit dirty around the heads, but a gold-ish/brass-ish light yellow rather than rust.

You are welcome! Maybe you could end all this discussion on the state of screws in the back

So, really ... what's better? A, M or K 50/1.2?
I have a Cosina 55/1.2 and I find it quite good.
Is this one in this discussion a better lens?

There is no M, only K and A. K renders a bit warmer than A. A has has the benefit of coating advances. I've had both and kept the K because I am weird and prefer K lenses always, if given the choice.

Yours is a very nice lens!
