That's true. But I guess Sigma would have a fair idea from sales of their lenses in other mounts what the likely sales would be for particular lenses in K-mount (even allowing for some extra demand given fewer alternatives in K-mount).
If the K-1 goes gangbusters Sigma might re-consider offering more lenses in K-mount - particularly the 70-200 f2.8. The one I'd like to see is the 150-600 C, as a longer and much cheaper alternative to the DFA 150-450.
