Nice! It works with the K-1 north of 15mm. It's obviously not the sharpest lens in the bag even at f/8 but it is REAAAALLLLLYYY WIDE!!

Wow that was fast. Back up to regular price. Wish they would just stick with the low price for at least a few days.

Too bad. On the B&H website it's only $305.

That is still cheap. I Paidd $300 used back in 2007 when I had my K10D. It is a highly underrated lens. For the record very few if any UWA's are sharp wide open.

True, but IMO this lens is very sharp starting arounf F5.6, and its short minimum focusing distance gives it almost macro-like ability, but the fisheye effect makes it even more interesting.

At the 17mm end, the distortion is minimal and it's very sharp across the frame.

As zooms go, it's very solid, and has responsive AF and great low light qualities. If you like fisheyes, this is a great lens to own.

I usually shoot my 10-17 at f8. That seems to be the sweet spot. Although f5.6 is certainly acceptable if you don't have enough light. My 10-17 was my first DA lens. I bought and sold others since then, but I still have my 10-17.
