I've been hopscotching up the versions from 6 -> 9 -> 13 and I think it is a good program for editing, and OK for basic tagging (which I have tried for awhile, but given up on that whole concept :-)

Got it, installed it, not much better than PSE5 for what I use it for!

Basic levels, resize, crop. I did have a go at the "photo merge, compose" today and it was pretty slick.

Faststone.org is free and handy for that - as well a quick jpg loads for chimping and (up to 4) image comparison.

I've used Photo Shop for years, my computer just crashed and had to reload all of my software.

Rather than reload PS, I loaded Elements 14. Also installed the free NIK plug-ins.

Been playing with it now for a couple of days. The only 2 things it does not do that PS did for me is: I can not create new "Actions", and it does not have "Curves". I've never been one to use many actions, so I'm fine with that. NIK has "Curves" in it so I'm good there. Guess I just saved myself a $10 a month!!!
