77mm B+W Circular Polarizer for $60 at B&H 'deal of the day'
Posted By: volosong, 07-31-2016, 08:38 AM

As of 9:00/12:00 PDT/EDT, about twelve hours to go for the B&H 'deal of the day'

Pretty good price. $75 off. Fits D FA 70-200/2.8 and a lot of other Pentax lenses.

Not that many Pentax lenses fits the 77mm filter? There´s some 645 zooms, I believe.

That's a great price.

DA* 200 and 300 are 77mm. Also the Samyang 16/2.

Off the top of my head I can think of these:

DA* 200, DA* 300, FA* 80-200, DA* 12-24
(also D FA 70-200 f/2.8 as mentioned)

A quick search turned up these that I had not thought of:

DA 14, DA 16-50,
A 28-135 f/4
A* 135 f/1.8
K, A*, and FA* 200 f/2.8
K, A* and M* 300 f/4
K, M, A and FA 400 f/5.6

That doesn't include non-pentax branded lenses...

You can always get it and use step up rings for all of your smaller filter threads. This way you only need one polarizer.

Thanks for reminding me of this. I knew it . . . I really did. But it has became buried in the depths of my rotting memory bank. Using a step-up ring will sure take care of the stuff I have between 52 and 77.

It get tricky to use a hood when you have step-up rings. The best options is to use one of those 77mm collapsible hoods attached to the filter directly - but that may not work for all focal lengths.
