I've just received Pentax Australia email dated August 26th specifying 3 day storewide (web) sale ending Sunday August 28th.

This is funny...Coincidentally, I went to the site last night and almost ordered a DFA 24-70 which was listed "in stock" but was really hesitating at the price.

Got the all stock reduced email this morning regarding the sale and the instant it arrived (I was online at the time) went in to grab the lens at the discount, but alas, "no stock".

Disappointing...and perhaps too convenient, methinks.

Many thanks for posting and sharing on FB. I would have missed this but now have a new K1 at an even better price. Just put the K3 on eBay - end of a beautiful relationship...
