My dream Takumar and I'm not even allowed to bid on it? Aargh! I'll have to try to use Google Translate to send a note in garbled German begging the seller to post to the UK. I'm drooling at the thought of getting my hands on that lens. Genuinely drooling.

Use English. It would be an unusual German not to be multi-langual.

I've bought many items from ebay.de where the seller did not indicate they shipped to Canada. An email in English always came back with a yes, however it's expensive shipping.

I do speak some German and my wife is fluent, however as mentioned most German ebayers I've dealt with speak great English.
