I just ordered one for my K-1 as light travel tele option (I can live with shaded corners for tele).

Regarding the FF coverage of this lens: there are dark corners at 55mm, with the severity intensifying up to about 100mm, where much of the frame beyond APS-C is black. As you zoom in, things clear up nicely, and by 300mm you only have a hint of black in the very corners.

Yes and I (probaly as most others) use zooms 90% at the end of the zoom ranges. This lens I actually intend to use at 300mm mostly.
I tried it out on photokina and I did like the image quality at 300mm on the K-1.
I am sure, no other light and fast WR option in the same price/performance ratio will show up anytime soon.

Given the similarity of their ranges, I wonder if a fix is available for this lens, in the same manner as for the DA*60-250.
