Here's a fantastic deal from Samsung on a memory card perfect for a phone or action camera. Picking up one of these to replace my 32Gb card!

Price is decent but I would get UHS 3 card now for more "future proof".

UHS-3 isn't a thing. Do you mean U3?

This thing is 80Mb/s read and 20 Mb/s write, which should be fine for everything except for 4K video. Can't as for more at this price, IMO.

I am not sure using micro sd card via adapter in Pentax camera is a good way, I would avoid that personally - there is one additional thing that could fail (the adapter).

Yes, I would go for U3, for 4K "future proof" (I know Pentax doesn't have anything 4K... but hey, we can hope right).

I definitely wouldn't use this card in a recent DSLR if it can be avoided, since those newer cameras write faster than 30Mb/s.

But for phones and the WG-M1/M2, it should be perfect.

I have the 64gb for my Asus t100 transformer and it works swell. If you travel and fly these things are great take your digital copy movies along with you. They play movies and do pictures just fine.

A faster write would clear cache faster if you are doing continuous shooting, assuming camera hardware can keep up. 20 MB/s(big "B") should be fine for 4K, as it's the bitrate that really matters 100 Mb/s(little "b") for 4K. 20 MB/s = 160 Mb/s. B=Bytes, b=bits. 1 Byte=8 bits.

You need closer to 30Mb/s for 4k AFAIK, hence the V30 class rating. Nobody works in bits when it comes to video...

I can only look at these and chuckle. I still remember how much I paid for my first 1 gigabyte hard drive, it was a lot, lot more than that.
