Black Friday Pentax Lens rebates begin! K-mount lens price drops at B&H

It looks like B&H has dropped prices on lots of Pentax lenses. Discounts are on the order of $50 to $100, but with few deals since the summer, these are great to see!

This mainly applies to DA and FA lenses. The newer D FA's are not on sale, though two nice K-1 kits have just gone live:

As long as I remember correctly it was 499 USD last year, so 549 USD is not amazing.

I will wait until Friday morning, I will take it from B&H even it is still 549. (I can go personally pick it up in B&H, and B&H is more trustworthy...)

The 16-85mm is now 379 GBP at srsmicrosystems.co.uk (the same seller also through ebay.co.uk) i.e. some 445 EUR or 470 USD. Now that is what I call good price. :-)

Why B&H doesn't have this discount as large as UK..

I have also been waiting for the successor to the 16-50mm (with newer, more reliable, focusing system, HD coating and maybe some optical tweaks). This could efectively substitue my two lenses: Sigma 17-70/2,8-4, which has nice FL, but is relatively slow, and the 18-35/1,8, which is super fast/bright, but with limited focal range. But it seems APSC is not a priority now, so I have to carry on with two zooms.
