UK Deals on K1 and DA 55-300MM F4.5-6.3 ED PLM WR RE · 05:57 AM

On Amazon, the K1 is reduced by a meagre £50, but currently sold out. I'm not sure that's worth the wait, at least not until SRS and other reputable UK dealers have announced their deals.

On the other hand, the HD Pentax-DA 55-300MM F4.5-6.3 ED PLM WR RE is only £249, which seems quite cheap to me.

I don't live in the UK but those who do will appreciate the links. Besides posting in Price Watch being the operative watch list, links are important.

One not of caution - there are lots of fraudulent sellers on Amazon at the moment, as was discussed elsewhere on the forum. There was a fake UK deal there just before I posted, but it seems to be gone now. Currently, there's a FA31 available dead cheap as part of a supposed Black Friday offer, but it's a scam, too.

Just be careful when you're shopping on Amazon, only order through the Amazon website. If you don't order directly from Amazon, make sure it's a legitimate seller and don't send any emails to the seller.

That's good advice for first time Amazon buyers. Myself, I've never gotten a fake sale or seller at Amazon but then I'm a careful buyer.

I bagged one of the 55-300 PLMs for £250 off Amazon. The order was fulfilled by Amazon with no problems whatsoever. A bit of a bargain, I reckon.
