I can't help but feel there should be some bullet holes in it to give a more visceral impact to the cameras presentation.

Great idea! But make sure you ask for the "soft" Corinthian leather for the true thickly cushioned luxury. They might have a few rolls leftover in the storage room.

Just received advisory (as you all probably have) that price has dropped by $195 "for a limited time" so if it was a little steep before it is now a more "reasonable" price

Hilarious. I should list one on eBay and call it the the 'builders model' (note: camera has suffered multiple blows from a sledge hammer - it still works though)

I was thinking of doing my 2005 Acura RSX with that finish!

I'll do the interior in the black Kangaroo leather and sand the outside of the car for that "worn" look.

a few minutes with a disk sander and you'll be all done... especially if you choose areas on the vehicle that neve get touched by hand or worn by pebble, You could go for a bit of hammer hail damage as well. :-)
