The price is way out of my league. Wife says "NO!"

One stop slower, but with K mount, modern coatings, auto aperture, auto focus, 1:1 macro capability and a 49mm filter diameter. I'll keep my DFA100WR thanks. At 1/10 the price.

When i see the price of this, i do wonder how much the price will come down once Pentax create a 100mm f2, or Yongnuo realease in K mount the copy of the Canon 100/2

not a lot. this lens is super duper rare - a real collector piece. but the price asked makes this 'unobtanium' for me and most pundits.

It's got the wrong front lens cap, so I'd ask for 1K off!

Well, it's still available... The high shipping charge is probably holding buyers back.

It looks like the seller has another exotic lens -- I think the second picture shows an Angenieux 90/1.8 in the background (the one with the three rings). I've seen that lens sell for several thousand (insert your currency) on eBay.

Wow, you don't see one of them every day. I can't image anyone paying that for it though, no matter how rare it is.

You'd think they would have taken better photos of the lens and some more inspired sample photos with it.
