Amazon is so weird.

When I clicked through the price is $83.79.

Must be the exchange.

I bought one. At that price it's cheaper than a restaurant meal. I already have one PTTL and three manual flashes, but this one can be used to drive the others as slaves, or as a compact flash solution for my K-1 when needed.

That exactly what I thought after the fact... good companion for the K-1 and compact to carry in the bag.
But I thought also It would be great for macro photo, and put on a side bracket with extension cords to reduce the shadows of another flash on a trigger... well I ordered another one ...at that price it's a no brainer!

I don't have much knowledge or experience with flash, but would like to try this for macro shots of flowers and insects. The PF review says "The flash can be used off camera, wired, but the required 5P synch cord and hot-shoe adapters are somewhat expensive." Can anyone recommend a synch cord and arm/adaptor that could be ordered with this, or should I just go with a higher level unit?

Thanks for bringing this great deal to our attention! I ordered one as soon as I saw this message. I need a small flash my K-1 for those times when I can't bring my AF 540FGZ.

I ordered the unit yesterday and it arrived today, despite opting for free shipping. Seems to work fine from a quick check.
I want to use a bracket so that I can position the flash to one side of the camera for macro shooting. I'm assuming I will need a hot shoe adaptor on the bracket with a threaded hole so that I can attach it, but I'm wondering whether I need a hot shoe adaptor on my K-3, or whether I can connect a cable to the x-sync socket on the camera (if not, then I'm wondering what the socket is for?).
Any advice would be appreciated - I don't want to order things I don't need.
