Sigma web store pentax deals

Adam - never see you post deals from the Sigma site

right now they have the 17-50 F2.8 lens for pentax aps-c that was highly rated by PentaxForums and that is rated over a 9 by 33 users for $300 off - $369 brand new with the 4-yr warranty...

i'm considering getting this lens to replace the 16-85 that dropped on a bunch of rocks scratching the front glass element badly...

they also have a $200 discount off the 10-20 F3.5 - not as highly rated a lens but a nice buy still

again not a top rated lens but one i own that i've felt does a good job as a walkaround lens and upgrade from the kit lens - the 18-250 is $200 off as well at $349

The Sigma 17-50mm is excellent. I believe it was featured in my last deal roundup, as it's priced at $369 across the board. Problem is, there's also the Tamron 17-50mm at $299, which is even more of a steal!

Sigma makes excellent glass. The 10-20 f/3.5 is a great walk-around range for flexibility. Just remember that the lens takes large, expensive 82mm filters. A great deal on a lens can negated by costly filters. The devil can be in the details:-)

I have the Tamron, and despite an AF glitch, it's a great lens. So much sharper than the Pentax 16-45 f4.
