I purchased some audio stuff from B&H a few years ago when the Canadian dollar was at par. They are certainly a great company to deal with and are very customer oriented.

Consider the fact that when I purchased my K-1, the price was such that this offer (with its increase) just about covers the price of the grip. Never knew inflation was this bad considering the times.

It's not inflation, just the market realities of a popular product. They sell every K1 they make, so as demand exceeds supply, prices rise.

Adorama and B&H both have this deal on again. Has me wondering if this is the Black Friday deal on the K-1 I want to jump on. I don't really want the grip, so I'd be selling it.

I think there's potential for a discount only on BF/Cyber Monday. We'll have to wait and see!

Nope, but (a) MAP is dropped only on those days and (b) the K-1 has been priced at $1799 before, so a discount is conceivable.
