I have been watching this on fleabay and the price just dropped. Good price for this lens. If I didn't want to stay married, I would get one for myself

yep! I just withdrew my KS2 listing and picked one up. I had also been watching this lens, and maybe this will keep me in the Pentax camp for a little while longer.

Note that Adorama sells directly from their website for $169 with free 3-day expedited shipping.

If you buy from Adorama's ebay site, they charge $11 for shipping.

28 is actually my ideal focal length on APS-C as it's nicely inbetween 35mm and 50mm on equivalent FF focal length.

Have fun, Scorpio. I have the 24 and really like it ... the 28 should be better, they're easier to design.

Thanks, I would prefer a 24 but the price was too tempting.

I received my lens last week and it suffers from SEVERE front focus. On my KS2, I’m already at the maximum micro adjustment for front focus (-10) and it still front focuses by a huge margin.

If I manually focus, it appears to focus properly, but I think AF is severely off.

I can either return for a full refund or I can send it off to Sigma for calibration - at my cost for shipping.

Sigma has contacted me and they are also recommending that I send my body as this will allow for best results.

Any advice guys?

***UPDATE***

I think I'll send it to Sigma for calibration with my KS2. It's a good lens and it's a focal length I really like, plus I got an awesome deal on the lens...
