Found an auction on ebay with several highly rated Tamron adaptall tele lenses. It will be interesting to see if they sell and at what price.

I know someone here would be interested in a nearly unused Sigma 70-200 II HSM for $500. Ends later today. Zero bids. I have no involvement or interest in it by the way.

I looked and it sold for the starting bid of 499.00. I was very surprised after looking at reviews for the lens. Someone got a decent deal if the lens is as described.

Yes they did. If not for buying a *300 a couple days back I would have bought it for that price. My lens budget is done for at least the next couple of months. I had hoped someone here might snatch the 70-200 since the price was darn low IMO.

Now's a bad time to sell, I think, because folks are tapped out after spending for the holidaze.

Too true! That still was a surprise when it went for it's opening bid.
